Star Rate System Pro V2.5a Available NOW

We have a major release for Star Rate System PRO and because you have downloaded in the past Star Rate, we thought is time to let you know this release as well. Read below what we is new or modified in this amazing release.

- Remember info on board input. These settings will set up a cookie on the user's computer and when he returns to the page, the entered details such as URL, Nick, e-mail will be automatically filled out in the form.

- Show as Type ... - if you like this features, you can leave it inside the template_board_input.html. When the user types Nick Name and Comments, it will automatically display the way it will look on the page.

- Add URL to input board. Some of you have asked to have a link on the URL like www.page.com, instead of email. We have left inside the link for email as well, but you can edit the template and get it out (template_board_list.html). You may enable/disable this feature from the admin page.

- Multiple comment - Some sites may want to have this page as a blog, to enable visitors to leave a rate and comment, but also have the possibility to come back and recomment a page. Almost like on a forum. You may enable/disable this feature from admin page.

- E-Mail notification on response. If the user wants to, he may get an email notification if someone comments on the board. You may enable/disable this feature from admin page.

- Removed template_board_list2.html (example) and template_board_input.html (example). It is just HTML to modify as you wish. It was hard to maintain many examples so that to keep them up to date.

- Admin may set up the board in debug mode. In this way he can test it before launching. It was hard to delete the board IP all the time and also the cookies from the local computer.

- Time between comments. If the board allows multiple comments, we have a setting in X seconds (default 300sec), between 2 post, need to pass X seconds. These settings are to prevent automatic submissions (spam).

- Deprecated define("INDEX_URL", RATEPRO_REAL_INDEX_URL); from config.inc.php, now we will hope no more problem will pop up. In admintool you need to use your domain with ending slash.

- See language directory. You can have your own language files now, just duplicate like fr.inc.php etc and in admintool use fr as language settings.
