Hello,

I'm using the Pro version of your Star Rating script, and I'm wondering how I can separate the rating stars from comments? To be clear, I have a product page where just next to the product image I want to display the rating stars (if there are ratings; if not, then an option or link to rate the product), but without comments - the comments should be displayed on other page to which I will provide a link from this product page, just below the rating stars. I'm just trying to make the product page more clearer, without many comments which will break the whole layout.

I'm using test.php example and I assume that the separation of ratings and comments should be done here, but I just bought the script and some help to get me started will be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Robert

Check showall_anchor.html demo.
http://starratepro.grafxsoftware.com/showall_ancho r.html

This page have 2 separate zone.
1. Show only the stars, like Rate Average Rating 1 [Total Votes 1]
2. If you click on a link (or put on other zone an another JS for board) will show the board.

Hope this help.

Thank you, that was exactly what I did and it worked.

Now, is there any way to display the posted comments first and then form for posting comments? Like, the rating with stars will be first, but the fieldset "leave a comment" to be after the existing comments, so the visitors can see the rating, read what was posted (about my product) and then add his own comment?

I've searched through all the files, but I couldn't see where the order how comments and form are generated. I can see that board_input.html is for the form, and board_list.html if for existing comments, but how to switch their order I couldn't find.

Thanks again,
Robert

articol.html
{RATE}
{BOARD}

Change the order.

Right, I was aware about this change, but what I'm trying to do is to put the rating stars at the top, followed by posted comments and then followed by the input form for new comments. As it looks, this cannot be done just by editing articol.html or any other .html file, but something should be changed in the way how php code generates the order of rating/comments sections, maybe in cls_board.php or cls_rate_pro.php.

Thanks,
Robert

No matter what order I put the variables in, the output on my web page comes out the same.

Am I doing something wrong, or is this what you mean by "We will look into it for a next version"?

Just thought I'd ask because I am a new owner of Star Rating Script Pro.

Thanks!

I think you have succeeded this. I see comments is on top and board down.
