can't commit - out of memory error!

I just downloaded CVS for Dreamweaver Lite. I tried to commit a file (it's 7KB). And I get the message:

cvs [commit aborted]: out of memory; can not allocate 4291857733 bytes

Hmmmm, we never get this message ....
Please describe more what type of CVS Server do you use, how did you installed etc.
