I have SVN installed and installed the dreamweaver extension for SVN. After the install there is no option anywhere for the extension. Even in the extension manager there is nothing. But the install completed just fine. What gives!

I am experiencing the same issue. I execute the installation (Windows OS, SVN4DW_setup.exe; for Adobe DW CS3) choosing Adobe DW. The information from the installation dialogue box specifies a location intended for install, but the folder is not created by the installation process. Also, the information indicates that 0.0KB will be required for the install. In short, nothing is being installed.

Another point, the version specified in the installation process is 2.1. Information in my purchase email specifies that the most recent version of this extension is 2.2.

Any productive assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunatelly no ...
We cannot reproduce, the only way to fix it is to get remote access to a computer where not install and there to see the reason :-((
ONLY 2 users reported this issue, so we thing is a specific issue on that computers.

I installed it on DW 8, then uninstalled it as well as DW 8, installed DW 9 and am now having the same issue as they are above.

Running Vista Ultimate if it helps.

Lol, I tried running the installer, if you don't pick one of the options and just hit next, it installs all of the files, however, when the Macromedia Extension Manager pops up it says "This extension requires the following products:

Dreamweaver MX or greater"

and says it will not be installed. Funny thing is, I just closed DW 9 before I ran the installer, so I know its installed lol

I just tried something else.

Everyone who has this issue try this:

1. Open up the Extension Manager manually (it's located in the same program group on the start menu as DW)
2. go to File and Install Extension
3. Navigate to c:\program files\CVS4DW
4. Pick the extension listed there for CVS4DW

It should install perfectly.

Hey, does this mean I get a free copy of CVS4DW for helping out? lol!

Oh, one last note, if you uninstalled DW 8 and installed Adobe DW 9, make sure you either uninstall the Extension Manager that DW 8 installed, or after it fails installing in Extension Manager during the initial install, you go open the "Adobe Extension Manager" and follow the instructions I put above.
