svn via network possible or restricted to local?

hello. i am going to setup a svn server. recently i am wondering about if it´s possible to use the dreamweaver plugin with a server in the LAN network. if yes which server model is the better one to chosse? apache oder svnserve?
and do i have to install the complete package für dremaweaver inclduding the binaries when i want to use a network server?

Yes, is possibble over TCP/IP, our software will connect to it.
Binaries are needed for local connection, but as a client.Please try LITE version first and if that working, will work FULL one as well.
