Hi,

When I try checking out, a dos window pops up and my dreamweaver hangs.

The command is:
cvs -d:local:D:\cvs-1-12-12\ -q -z1 checkout "" 1
>c://out.txt 2>c://err.txt

I have downloaded cvs and put it in D:\cvs-1-12-12\.

Am I doing correctly?

If you have a large project, is not hang, just working.
Try from command line to execute cvs.exe and see if you get back response.
If yes, is what I mentioned, DW is working, just cannot show it.
If not get back any response, then means that cvs.exe is not in executable path, then add the path D:\cvs-1-12-12\ to Windows PAth or install it on Windows directory.

Thanks for replying :)

I think I've got it started. But I'm having this error now:
cvs [checkout aborted]: cannot make directory : No such file or directory

The command is:
cvs -d:local:D:/cvs-1-12-12 -q -z1 checkout ""

I think it's because I didn't specify the module name. But I can't create a module using LITE. Any workaround?

can you put a screenshot of the settings of checkout. I think that you forgot to enter the module name.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for replying!

Yes. I didn't put the module name as I can't create modules with LITE. Do I have to create the module manually using CVS in DOS first before I can start using LITE?

If you use create new module, yes. The reason is that in LITE we do not added Create New Module.
But will work Checkout, Add, Commit in LITE to test it.
