cvs command arguments, can they be set in a config file ?

We run an older cvs client and the cvs update uses an option that is not supported
(cvs -q -z1 --lf update .., the --lf option is not supported)
can we set cvs cmd arguments in a config file or are these hard coded ?

You can setup in CVS for DW config that not to use -lf ... (Force Unix Line feed)
