I have installed a demo version of the newest Dreamweaver (DW MX 2004).

I have on top of that, installed the latest version of CVS4DW.

I see everyone talkig about the configuration menu or dialog, however, I cannot find anywhere that I can configure the CVS setup in Macromedia. I do, however see a CVS menu at the top of the DW program that includes ADD COMMIT UPDATE.

where do I configure the CVS settings?

See in Files Panel with Right Click an extended menu.
We will see how to change this to let people know how to find it.

I have tried the Files Panel with Right Click an extended menu. I still do not see any CVS configuration menu.

I see:
New File
New Folder
Open
Open With
Edit
Select All
Preview in Browser
Refresh

That is all I can see there.

To have it enabled, you need to have a site defined. It is very important to setup your working site. TO do this, on FIles Panel, use Manage Site and create follow the steps. After site is defined, you will have the Right Click > CVS for Dreamweaver menu.
