install problem

I've tried everything I can think of to get around this error:
"The file 'C:\WINDOWS\System32\cvscd.bat' is being used by another application. Please close that application and try again"

I've even tried installing the extension in Windows Safe Mode and I get the exact same error. Any ideas?

This is a bug of Macromedia Extension installer, cannot overwrite into system directory.
Just delete that file and install it again.

i figured something like that, but what's odd is that that file isn't anywhere to be found. What I did was extract the extension, edit the mxi file to put the cvscd.bat file in the $dreamweaver directory and repackaged it, and it installed fine....still checking to see if it works.

yes, but in DW directory cannot be executed ... :-(

aye, realized that after the fact, so after I got the extension to install successfully, i moved the cvscd.bat file to the system32 directory manually.

Great, so now is work?
