Hi, I'm interested in Star Rating Pro but have a few questions before buying.

I want the rating system to be almost just like this one but using the javascript version http://www.wildlife-fantasy.com/artwork/owls_easte rn_screech.php
I want each person's rating to appear next to their comments like on that site with no ip address. I don't want a preview field or email field on the form, only name, comments and human verification field. Is this hard to accomplish?

I want to have a different rating on every single page of my website, is this hard to do? Is there anyway to have just the rating and comments on a page and have a link "click here to add a review", then when they click it the form pops up to enter their review in?

- Each person review will appear near the comments.
- IP address can be take out.
- Email is a must, can be get out but I do not recommend and is not just so easy, require programing
- Preview is easy to get out
- Different rate for every page, this is the goal :-) of course is possible.
- "Click here to add a review" can be done, with additional programming, can be added to one of the next release or can be requested with additional payment (small one)

Thanks for your reply! 5 more questions

1. If I buy the script will you help me with removing the IP address in the comments area and also the preview part? I sadly know nothing about PHP.

2. In order to have a different rating for every page do I have to have the script installed once per page or will just one script installation take care of all pages?

3. Is it easy to change the rating images (stars) to a different image, like they did on the site I mentioned?

4. How much extra money would you need to change the form above the comments to a "click here to add a review" link? Please go easy, I am broke! LOL!

5. Is there any way to have the ratings appear on other pages? Like if I wanted the rating of other pages displayed on the front page of my site, is that hard to do?

1. Easy to remove, yes, we will help on that. Need to know HTML not PHP
2. On each page or a template.
3. Yes, it is a graphics file.
4. 25USD and we will include for other people into next release.
5. We have Top10 rated, maybe that help?

So it's $25 for a little mod to a $30 script? :-( Will it be in the next release anyway, should I just wait for that and get it free like everyone else?

I need the stars (rating) of each poll to appear on the front page of my site next to the links of the rated pages. Is that possible? Thanks!

We work on hourly base and if we include on next release, then we offer 50% discount. So if you need a feature right now, then of course we need to ask for some money. It is 30USD the script indeed, but we sell it to hundred of people, but if a person request a feature, need to pay the development, at full or 50%.
We cannot promise we include in next release, but we added the request to our to do list.

I do not understand your question about front page.

Say one of the pages with a rating on it has 4 stars. I want to place the 4 stars on my front page wherever I want it to show up.

If that can't be done how the script is right now I would pay another extra $25 for you to do it. It would be a very popular feature I'm sure many people would love to have.

I hope you understand what I mean. :-)
Kind of like adding one pages rating to another page with an SSI.

You can use to show a listing as rate, but not to rate.

I'm not sure what you mean. Can you explain? I want the ratings of my pages to also show up on the front page. Possible or not? Much like it is done here http://www.clickherefree.com/ but possibly with the stars. I will be using the javascript version. Thanks

It is TOP10, it is a PHP script and a JavaScript, you can alter that if you like.

Doesn't sound like the script can do what I'm asking, ok. Thanks anyway.

Would it be easy to make it a top 40 or so instead of top 10? Is it easy to set it up like http://www.clickherefree.com (he has a top 30) with number of votes and the rating? Also, will it work with the javascript version? I think those are my last questions!
