Thank you for your informative articles on the plesk setup and now I see you have also information on the NGinx install...
Please tell me if this requires re-configuration when adding new domain?
Does it require re-config when re-boot?
Does this require config for each domain?
Is this stable with the atomic default yum instalL
Please share any issues you may have had with this usage, and also please share successful results...
thank you..
Glad to see your business is expanding so well...
Would your servers be appropriate for use with US domains and customers, or would it be too far away for usage?

We are happy that we can help, more coming in a short time.

When you add a new domain, or subdomain, you will need to add only for that domain (nginx.conf) the settings. We are working to have this automated in Power Toys, but you can do it easily as well in /skel/0/ .

No reboot requires, only nginx reload.

Yes, it is require to have for each domain. We still study how can we enable only for selective domains, not to all, but it is harder to do that.

Yes, it is stable with Yum Install, we use ART repository and all work fine.

We use also on this server nginx for all domains, the only issue what we have found and we did notfigured yet out why, that on login screens we get rediredted to port 8080, but strange in not all case. phpBB and Cerberus so far with this issue.
All the rest is more then OK.

We have all of our servers in Germany (Hetzner) but we think is fast enough. I know that in US could be faster, but most of our clients are in EU on hosting.
But we have a service to maintain any server with PLESK, anywhere in the world.
See this link.

I am impressed by all your work...

Let us explore possible opportunity for your servers in US?

I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where we have a solid foundation for computer industries...intel...sandia labs...los alamos labs...

The universities here have special emphasis on computer technology training to support these industries...
The movie industry is agressively moving computer software technology to our city...these services are for 3d and motion graphics technology, which the university has special training for this industry applications also...
Sony has re-located a great portion of their computer graphics devisions here...soon to be all of their computer work to be done here...
The city and state have allocated much money for the installation of "green" technology in this area...many bonds supported for this useage...tax breaks given to new businesses in these industries...
Let us talk about these possibilities....

You may take this post off the forum if you wish to not have people see this discussion...

For the moment we do not move to US, but if you send to us more details in email, I can pass to a customer who is in US.

I have found that nginx does not support mod_security...according to scott at ASL...

What do you do to tighten security when using nginx, or have you found a workaround to support mod_security?

I am wondering if is true, but we will evaluate.
On this server we have nginx and also mod_security and ASL and in all logs seems that mod_sec is do his job. I do not see the connection for the moment, all dynamic content is sent to Apache, so Apache will react with mod_sec.

scott: 'Epic negative here with nginx, it does not support mod_security.'

mikeshinn: 'Keep in mind that if you are running PHP out of nginx you have no protection against web attacks. As Scott said, there is no WAF plugin for nginx, so you are wide open. We do not recommend you do this.'

But then again, they are not using this, whereas you are...maybe they have not evaluated on live server, I don't know...just trying to find upfront any issues before using on my servers...thanks and please update here if you have definite conclusions regarding these issues...

We will investigate as well. Could be true, could be not.
